The key principals of environmental and energy efficiency have always been at the forefront of how we go about designing and manufacturing our portfolio of products.
Our ethos is very much to do right by the environment in the materials we use and how our products operated, enjoyed and also in the way they are maintained. All our Armadilla units have the highest conceivable standards of luxury and yet have the lowest life cycle costs of any comparable product.
Through design, material selection, higher insulation values and advanced technology the Armadilla team has developed industry leading environmental standards that appeal to responsible hospitality providers.
We don’t do “eco bling” (sticking in some token green add on). All our products are conceived and constructed with energy efficiency and sustainability inherent throughout. But it doesn’t stop there. We also look at the bigger picture and recognise that our key impacts to be in the areas of:
energy use
raw material use
waste generation
transport
procurement.

Minimise waste through careful and efficient use of all materials and energy.
Purchase sustainable products wherever feasible, particularly from FSC & PEFC suppliers.
Train employees in good environmental practice and encourage employee involvement in environmental action.
Eliminate risks from environmental, health or safety hazards for employees and others in the vicinity of our operations.
Adopt an environmentally sound transport strategy.
Assist in developing solutions to environmental problems.
Continue to develop advanced manufacturing processes to eliminate waste.
Continually assess the environmental impact of all our operations.
