THE VISION
Murrayshall Country Estate sought to expand its reach beyond the traditional guest profile by offering a new type of luxury accommodation. Already renowned for its historic charm, award-winning dining, and 27 holes of scenic golf, Murrayshall wanted to tap into a broader market segment—one that values eco-friendly initiatives, contemporary design, and immersive rural experiences. By enhancing its accommodation options, the estate aimed to bring modern comforts to the rustic beauty of rural Perthshire, attracting guests eager for something a little different without losing the classic sophistication that Murrayshall is known for.
BACKGROUND
Murrayshall boasts 40 refined rooms and suites, two restaurants serving locally sourced cuisine, a lively brasserie, and the Barossa Bar. Nestled just outside the vibrant city of Perth, guests can enjoy a variety of activities—like exploring the extensive grounds and playing golf—all while revelling in the estate’s tranquil surroundings. Recognising the growing demand for sustainable practices and unique, high-end experiences, Murrayshall sought to evolve its accommodation offerings in a way that reflects its heritage yet meets modern expectations.
